Nike

The name of our company is Nike which was founded in 1964 of January by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight. The sell footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories, and services to all. Social media is helpful because it promotes their brand and allow others to see what all they sale especially when being promoted by someone famous.
According to Google, Nike was originally known as Blue Ribbon Sports (BRS), and was founded by the University of Oregon track athlete, Phil Knight and his coach, Bill Bowerman.
According to Twitter, Nike connects with the buyers and people who enjoy them through twitter and give them motivational advice. It's another way they sale their brands, by connecting with the buyers.
According to Pinterest, Nike pretty much use pinterest to reach out to women because woman usually are the ones using pinterest. Facebook is just another promoter and is fan based.
Google is used for clarification and promoting of their brand through pictures and advertisement. Twitter is used for connection between the buyers and people who are promoting the brand Nike. Pinterest is used for women to search the brand and see how others look in it to hopefully get them to buy as well. Facebook is fan based and the more stuff the Nike brand comes up with the more people follow because its trending. YouTube is pretty much videos of famous people or athletes wearing the gear and making others want to buy.

Since a member of our group have unexpectedly left and had all the information concerning the topic considering this was pretty much his idea, it leaves us to (Emerlly and I) to start from scratch. Emerlly and I have both gathered information pertaining to the topic. Our topic is digital privacy and i'm sure we will stick to this. We will be using goggle and creative commons as resources. we will use Prezi for our actual presentation. We will both take turns talking, developing the slides, and participating equally since there is just two of us.

FCC Levies $10 Million Fine Against Carriers for Breach of Consumer Privacy

This article talks about the FCC charging $10 million dollars to companies that didnt protect people's privacy such as social security numbers, names, addresses, and driver license's. Anyone could have accessed that information and that is not ok. I believe that they deserved the fine because those things are very important.

Senator Rockefeller Questions Whisper About Privacy Practices

This article talks about Senator Rockefeller questioning someone about what they do. To me it seemed Rockefeller knew what  whisper job out but he later discovers that whisper is has tracking on people and can see their location. I think that somethings people should not be able to see.

Supreme Court to Rule on Privacy of Hotel Records

This article is about police officers wanting the right to go into hotels and look at guest registration information without consent. Many argued that it would violate the fourth amendment. I think that they should not have that right because it a level of respect. Also if it was needed to keep someone safe, i'm sure the higher authority would allow such.

FACEBOOK: I have a good number of social media websites that I visit often, Facebook being one of them. Looking at the privacy settings there's really not a lot to control but there's more than others. I can choose whether or not I want everyone to see my post or only friends. I can control my profile and just how much I want to answer to be public like birthday, phone number, email. and so forth. I can also choose who I want to have access to looking me up but only choices between friends, friends of friends, or everyone, what about no one? I think there are a lot that you have control over but there's a lot more than you can control.

INSTAGRAM: As soon as I typed instagram it popped up with my account as a option without even having to log in. Yes i'm sure it did that simply because it recognized the email from the other tabs I had open but to me that's saying that if someone knew my email then they had access to my accounts and that to me does not seem like much privacy. Instagram does not gives much access to privacy. You can change whether or not you have access to your account, see who follows and unfollowed  you, track followers that you follow and don't follow you back. That to me is not as important as people seeing what you put or hacking into your account.

GMAIL: I couldn't really find much about the privacy settings except for how many times you've signed in from a computer or phone, the time and date, and any device that you have used to create the account with or log in with stays on your account. I feel this has the worst privacy settings simply because there aren't many options.

TWITTER: It warns you that anything you tweet can be seen by anyone whether you want them to or not. Also it asks you if you want to stay logged in, to send a message to your phone when you're being logged in, also an option to provide personal info in order to reset your password, who can tag you in certain photos, if you want what you tweet for everyone to see, or add a location so people can know where you are. I think twitter has the best privacy settings because it offers a lot of options but it's up to us to agree to them.

The topic of our project is Digital Privacy and how much privacy does social network actually allow us to have. Our group includes Emerlly Pineda, Cody Ide, and Ashley Carter. Cody will play the role of the speaker so he will do most of talking when presenting. Ashley will play the role of finding information for our topic so basically doing research. Emerlly will play the role of creating the prezi and how it will look. However, we are a group which means we will all pitch in to help one another based on all the requirements needed. We are researching how much privacy do we actually have when clicking accept to different terms and policies. Also how do you know what exactly are you agreeing too and how far back will it go when getting your information. For example, twitter, instagram, snapchat, and other social networks require our location after getting an app. Yes it's true, we have a decision whether or not we click agree but is it right? Location to them may be simple but depending on who's watching what we agree too may encounter some major problems. For example, kidnappers, murders, and other unnecessary things. As a group we plan to use the internet of course, articles, blogs, and reviews from other people as our resources. This is a topic most people probably think about but never go into detail on finding answers and we plan to find some.

I visited creativecommons.org and i searched from Google
 IPhone 6

 Printing telegraph

The name of the book is Hamlet. I read it in high school and it can be read on html and kindle

http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/1112
The name of the book is The Tradegy of Romeo and Juliet. I also read this in high school and it can be read on on Kindle, Html, and plain text.

http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/5977
The name of this book is called Bound to Rise and i have never heard of it but it can be read on Kindle, Html, and plain text as well.
I have two blog posts listed but i'm more interested in Deadspin which really relates to the sports and talk about whats going on. I read a article about Michael Vick admitting he wasn't prepared when playing in the game that they lost in and that he did not take it seriously. Some feel he should not have been so open and honesty while others think he's a bad person now but hey, its media and anything you say will be made into something bigger than what it really should be. I also read an short article and watched a quick video about a high school football that supposed to be so good but what everyone ended up talking about was how bad the tackles were on the opposing team. So my question is... How good is the team actually?

I found both the video and the article interesting simply because it amazes me how they can play games for a living when over here that is all people want to do for free. However, it did say they have fun but they also get paid for it, not that it is much. I read they get paid 30 cents a hour in American money. To me that is not a lot of money but I would guess things are cheaper there for that amount. Also they mentioned eBay as a source of money but not a lot of them did it because it was a lot of trouble or they did not have certain information. They really depend on American kids playing games and upgrading so they can make more money. They prefer american money over theirs because the value is worth more and hey who wouldn't want that?

Group members: Emerlly Pineda, Cody Ide, and Ashley Carter

Topic: Digital Privacy
Purpose: Technology now have updated so much and gives people the opportunity to do pretty much anything. You have the ability to share your whole life with social media like Facebook, twitter, instagram, or snapchat. Sometimes it ask you to agree to certain terms and conditions but sometimes you just accept it because you want the app simply because its popular. The question is... Just how much do people find out with you just accepting those terms and not knowing.

For the most part i agree with the test because i am all of those things or have similar characteristics. I saw that i am pretty much 50/50 and i also agree with that. I think the test is a great thing because it shows you just how much you know about yourself and also how to deal with others people. Some people may disagree simply because they think one way and the test shows another,

The name of my journal is:

1. Music Online: African American Music Reference
Its pretty much about the influence and musical expression. Its purpose is to tell others about the different music African Americans listened to, sung, created, and so forth.
In the first article i read about all the genres of music that they were involved with and how so many people are famous for country, gospel, jazz, R&b, and many others. Also about the different civil rights movement that basically lead them to singing.

2. Journal of Family Strength
Its a journal produced by an organization called CHILDREN AT RISK to help improve services that promote and sustain family systems.
The article i read was called The Familial Union between Caregivers and the Juvenile Justice System. It just talked about how the caregivers learned to take care of their child's detention.

3. Religion and All-Day Schools: Impact of All-Day Schools on the Systems of Schools and Religion
Its an journal or essay talking about religion not being a part of school and everyday activities.
The essay that I read which was named the statement of the problem, basically talked about how in German school systems religion was always present until it all changed and how it made time for kids to do more activities not that this was a good thing.

4. Trends in the treatment and detection of skin cancer
This article basically talks about skin cancer and how each year there is something new discovered in order to prevent it or see it before a patient is diagnosed with it.
The article I read talked about how if the symptoms were recognized then it would be easier to treat it and also talks about more modern equipment and technology in general as a big help source.

5. Problems, survival and transformation: religious education  in Scotland -a historical review, 1962-1992
This paper talks about the history of Scottish religious education during the time of 1962-1992.
And i clicked on the article but it would not load after trying continuously although I got to see what it would be about.
